As a mama-to-be, it’s difficult to find pieces that make me feel stylish – but one thing I can always depend on (pregnant or not), is a classic timepiece. Insert: Jord Watches. Beautifully crafted wooden watches that somehow make you feel less like you’re wearing a tree on your wrist and more like you’ve finally found the perfect jewelry staple.
You’d think that coordinating your outfits to match a wooden watch would be a struggle, but I seriously wear it with everything – girlie dresses, bomber jackets and even my fitness/athleisure gear. To be honest, I feel like it’s the one piece that makes all my outfits unique. I’ve always gravitated towards masculine, slightly oversized watches so naturally I fell in love with the Frankie series with the zebrawood, large + navy face (I also really love the emerald face + ebony all black versions). The zebrawood makes it feel unique, and the navy keeps it grounded in classic + timeless style.
Pictured here, I’m wearing it with a white button down, a quilted bomber, a neckerchief and my furry loafer slides. But I would also recommend wearing with a sleek feminine dress to offset the masculinity or with an everyday go-to outfit (tshirt + jeans) to jazz it up a bit. Additional plus sides? The watch comes in the most intricate wooden box complete with drawers filled with cleaning materials to keep your Jord watch intact (not that it needs much help in this department, it’s seriously so durable) and stored away safely when not being worn.
