Chido: Serene Supreme x Ramses Alarcon @ Gamut Gallery in downtown Minneapolis, 7 PM - 11 PM: A collaboration between photographer Serene Supreme & mixed media artist Ramses Alarcon. Serene's iconic polaroid photos were enlarged and printed, then directly drawn and painted upon by Ramses. I'll be one of portraits featured at the exhibit which runs through October 4.
7 Countries, 7 Stories: A short featuring Joan Erakit: UN Correspondent and great friend of mine, Ms. Joan Erakit stopped into town over Labor Day weekend and we shot a little impromptu video with the help of Irv Briscoe from VON91. It chronicles her UN journey through 7 countries to learn how reproductive rights initiatives vary from different cultures and parts of the world.
