wow, sorry for being the worst blogger on earth. it's been a whirlwind these past couple weeks - but fret not, the project i've been sweating over is being released soon! more on that later though.
i think i've probably repeated this more times than i care to count - but macy's glamorama is the party of the year in minneapolis. judge all you want on it's mainstream reputation - but being backed by a shopping giant has its perks. to name a few: the show's theatrics are always spectacular and the after party is too good for words. this year did not disappoint. my favorite parts of the show included the cuties that danced their butts off in the hello kitty segment and fashion-wise, i loved the calvin klein portion. the bandaged undies + bra tops emblazoned with the iconic brand name peeking out from the waistbands of their jeans and jackets were perfect - both had you feeling nostalgic, yet modern through his pairing of them with minimalist pieces.
the cherry on top is that all of this benefits the children's cancer research fund, you really can't beat good times for even greater causes. can't wait to see what macy's comes up with next year!
