my favorite looks from the met gala this year. i gravitated towards anything overly embellished, crop tops and solids with modern silhouettes/cuts (see: solange's dropwaist, rihanna's crop top, dree hemingway's deep v + midi). my favorite ensemble of the night is easily emma stone's blush + hot pink combo by thakoon; it was modern, clean and had that little something extra special (thigh high slit + crop top) - paired with a semi messy braid and natural make-up, it was almost like she #wokeuplikethis. but if i were being true to myself, i would probably wear dree hemingway's proenza schouler number - her entire look was so gorgeous, from hair to toe.
my favorite couple of the night: chanel iman + a$ap... i mean, how gorgeous are their babies going to be? and i liked the randomness of the attendance of future, so i had to throw him in there + he looks like a million bucks.
